Dr. Martha Gagnon

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

Parent-Student Workshop Schedule for 2006-2007:
Topic: Interpreting and Using the PSAT Score Report.

What do the scores mean? Do the scores predict SAT scores? How do the PSAT and SAT compare? How are they the same and how do they differ? How do colleges use PSAT scores and SAT scores? What does the new PSAT and SAT look like? How can I use the information generated on the PSAT score report to help my child prepare for the SAT?

These programs are open to all parents and their students, regardless of the student's school or grade level. No registration is necessary. These programs are free.

Most programs last about one hour, and Dr. Gagnon will stay to answer questions.

If you have your student's PSAT score report, please bring it along.

“Dr. Gagnon has provided an invaluable service to Glenelg’s students and parents for many years. Our community has come to rely on her to deliver the latest information and trends in SAT’s . Although they can’t all raise their scores by 400 points (as did one young man 2 years ago), the students who participate in her classes are all well served by her competence!” -Ms. Ruth Drucker, Guidance, Glenelg High School, Glenelg, MD
